The kitchen is fully equipped with kettle, microwave, toaster and full size gas oven. There is also a fridge/freezer and all the usual crockery, pans and cuttlery for 8 people.

Through the hall, which has a door to divide the living area from the bedrooms, is the bathroom that has a power shower, sink and toilet. The shower also has a deep shower tray with plug to make it easier for bathing/washing smaller children, as well as a seat.

The caravan itself is situated opposite the pond, which has a safety fence around the perimeter, and houses the local ducks!

Parking is provided alongside the caravan for one car and any additional cars can be parked in the site car park which is just a 2 minute walk away.

All in all, the caravan is in an ideal location to enjoy both the site facilities and also the many places and scenery of the surrounding area.

Pendine Sands Holiday Park

Pendine Sands Holiday Park is a 4 star park with a David Bellamy Gold Award for Conservation and a Blue Flag clean beach award. It is situated right on the coast with a beautiful 7 mile sandy beach and around the headland you will find caves and rock pools galore.

Over the past 2 years, since being taken over by Parkdean, the site has undergone a complete refurbishment. The grounds are well tended and lawns mowed regularly. The Venue (clubhouse), pool and Duck Inn have been refurbished, along with a new children’s play area by the Duck Inn and one by The Venue.

Whilst the site itself is a peaceful haven, facilities are provided for all ages, from a nightly cabaret at The Venue to children's clubs and entertainment. The indoor heated pool is open from 9am until 6pm and there is also The Duck Inn with Sky TV screens. Quality food is served in both The Venue and The Duck Inn.

Local Area

In the village of Pendine itself there is a laundrette, small selection of shops, post office, cafes and a couple of pubs, all within a short walk from the caravan park.

The beach is fantastic for children, sandy with plenty of rock pools and caves at one end or just lazing on the sand or strolling over the cliffs on the many walks.

Pendine Sands Holiday Park is an excellent base to see the many other beautiful beaches and towns only a short drive or bus ride away. For the more adventurous there is Oakwood Theme Park with its high-thrill rides or Folly Farm (suitable for all ages), a chocolate making factory, craft shops, horse riding and karting, along with many castles and National Trust places to visit.

We have had a caravan at Pendine Sands for over 10 years and still haven't done and seen everything there is in the area.

The Park is open from March through to New Year and is a fantastic place to stay at any time of year.
