The kitchen has a fridge freezer, microwave, gas hob and oven, and many extras including Denby cooking dishes and a George Foreman grilling machine. Next to the kitchen is the dining area with plenty of seating.

There is a shower room with a separate toilet next door, which can be quite handy when there are a few people in the caravan.

We bought this caravan as a get away for ourselves and our young children, and do not run it as a business. We try to rent it out for a few weeks a year to cover some of the groung rent. You will therefore find it homely and well equipped.

Bowdens Crest Caravan & Camping Park

Bowdens Crest is a lovely, family run site who are always happy to help if you need anything. The views from the site are spectacular as it is set right in the Somerset Levels.

On site there is a shop, which equips most things and is open daily, the Mad Hatters club bar, which serves lovely food at reasonable prices, a games room, which has a pool table, machines, table football, and a library where you can borrow books and videos. There is also a children’s play area next to the Mad Hatters bar so you can sit outside and watch the children, or they are welcome in the bar itself. Later on this year there will be internet facilities too.

Also on site there is a laundry room with wash and dry facilities as well as washing lines and pegs. There is also a brand new shower and toilet block with a family bathroom that can be used at any time, which is quite handy as it is very close to the caravan.

Bowdens Crest Caravan & Camping Park is situated approximately one mile from the ancient town of Langport, which has local shops and pubs as well as leisure facilities including swimming.

The walk into Langport is beautiful if you are up to it.

Near to Langport there are cider and animal farms to visit, Bridgewater and Glastonbury are also not too far away. For those day trips there is Cheddar, Wookey Hole, Weston super Mare and Burnham on Sea. The site shop provides discounted tickets for Wookey Hole and you don’t need to queue up either.

Other attractions close to the site include a fishing lake; day or week passes are also available in the site shop.
