Pillows and quilts are provided, with all beds fitted with mattress protectors, but you will need to provide your own linen, sheets, pillow cases, quilt covers, towels and tea towels etc.
The bathroom has a cream suite, shower cubicle with shower screen and heated towel rail.
The spacious kitchen contains everything you may need including a microwave oven, toaster, sandwich maker, electric kettle, cooker/oven, fridge, cutlery, crockery glassware (all settings for eight) and pans etc. Also included are an iron and ironing board.
The spacious lounge/dining area has all the equipment you will need; for your entertainment you will find a TV, DVD player, free view digi box, a selection of DVDs, books and games etc. There is also the facility to sleep another two people here.
Externally there is a patio set, barbeque, bikes, balls and lots more!
For the men there’s a fishing lake two minutes away (valid fishing license required).
Haven Golden Sands Holiday Park
There is so much to do and see on the park and our caravan is ideally placed near both the great facilities of the park and access to the glorious sandy beaches.
On site there’s heated indoor and outdoor pools, featuring aqua scooters and swimming lessons. There’s also loads of outdoor sports such as soccer, basketball, archery, fencing as well as go-karts, mini tenpin bowling and a fun palace (ball pool).
There really is something for the whole family at Golden Sands. The children will
never be bored with the activity clubs for tots to teens, shows, fancy dress competitions and much more. The Funstar team do a great job of keeping all the children amused each and every day.
Breakfast, lunch and dinner are all served in the complex. You will also find a supermarket, fish & chip shop, launderette, telephones, post boxes cash machines amusements and climbing frame play area on site.
The main complex has fencing surrounding it making it a safe enviroment for children to play and a golf course is just a short drive away.
Mablethorpe's award winning Blue Flag beach is only a 5 minute walk away from the caravan, where you can bathe, make sand castles, fly kites or have a paddle in the sea. You can even ride on a sand train and arrive at Mablethorpe’s sea front promenade or take the road train or bus in to town passing the Loewen cinema, which shows all the latest releases.
In town there’s the Dunes Family Entertainment Centre - a real fairground with all of the family favourites; rides, games, stalls and arcades, plus plenty of traditional foods. There's also Queens Park, a boating lake, a play ground area and paddling pool. Restaurants in the town include Chinese, Indian and pizza take aways and fish & chips shops, so no need to cook!!!
The Seal sanctuary is well worth a visit. Next door to this is the Ferryboat pub – a welcome stop at any time of the day!
Skegness is about 40 minutes away passing Ingoldmells, where you will find Fantasy Island and a huge outdoor market with loads of bargains.
Cleethorpes is about an hour the other way where theres a theme park.
