The lounge area is spacious yet cosy, and has comfortable seating with a pull out double bed beneath the sofa. There is a TV with DVD player and Freeview set top box (including Cbeebies). A gas fire adds to the cosy feel on chilly evenings. The dining area has a free standing table and chairs. A high chair is also provided.

The kitchen has a modern gas cooker, with extractor, that runs from mains gas. It is fully equipped and includes a fridge, microwave oven, kettle, iron and pullout ironing board. It has an assembly of china, glass, crockery and cooking utensils and there is also a children’s unbreakable dinner set for families to use.

Outside the caravan is your tarmac parking area and a grass sitting/play area.

Check in time is 3pm Saturday; check out time is 10am Saturday.

Perran Sands Holiday Park

Perran Sands Holiday Park is situated in 500 acres of conservation land which is mainly surrounded with sand dunes. This extends down to the Sandy beach at Perran Sands.

Truro is a 15 minute drive away, although you can catch a bus from the holiday park to most destinations if you want to avoid parking.

You will be within easy reach of the dramatic Heritage coastline of North Cornwall and the untamed beauty of Bodmin Moor and Dartmoor. Explore the hidden coves and pretty fishing villages including Port Isaac and Padstow. Visit the timeless harbour at Boscastle or the mystical castle of King Arthur at Tintagel. Enjoy the world famous Eden Project and the Lost Gardens of Heligan or visit the wealth of National Trust houses and gardens in the locality.

Perranporth

Perranporth is a popular surfing tourist destination on the north coast of Cornwall, six miles south-west of the surf resort of Newquay and six miles east of that at Porthtowan, making it an ideal location to visit the Cornish attractions. The village has several food stores, post office, surf shops, hairdressers, lots of pubs with restaurants and the world famous 'Watering Hole', the only bar on the beach, only 15 minutes walk along the coastal footpath! The beach is a superb surfing beach for all abilities. There are surf schools and surf hire in the village. The beach is lifeguarded from Easter to October. There are fantastic coastal walks with stunning scenery.

Masterchef host John Torode and Rolf Munding are developing a gastronomically ambitious restaurant at Seiners on the beach where Alex Lawson (nee George), formerly of the Blue Bar in Porthtowan will be the manager. Mr. Torode and Mr. Munding founded the upscale restaurant Smiths of Smithfield in The City of London.

Perranporth hosts a popular inter-Celtic festival each October, Lowender Peran, drawing people in from all six of the Celtic nations.

There is a fine links golf course on the sand dunes overlooking the village. The sand dunes (Penhale Sands) adjacent to the northern part of the beach are used for orienteering championships. There is also an army training camp here. The southern end of the beach is backed by dramatic cliffs, with natural arches and stacks, and tin-mining adits. This headland is called Droskyn Point, and on top of it is a youth hostel with spectacular views and a large sundial, situated beside the South West Coast Path.

The village's name is Cornish for "Saint Piran's cove". Saint Piran is the patron saint of Cornwall and his white-on-black cross features on the county's flag. It is believed that Saint Piran founded the church near to Perranporth (the "Lost Church") in the seventh century. Buried under sand for many centuries, it was unearthed early in the twentieth century, but again left to the mercy of the sands in the 1970s. Plans are now afoot to make it accessible once more.
