All linen is provided free of charge; i.e. sheets, pillowcases, duvets, duvet covers, blankets etc. If you have a baby or toddler that sleeps in a cot, we ask you to bring their own bedding for safety reasons. We also have a travel cot, a high chair and a wheelchair, if required, that you may use at no extra cost.

Also provided is free entry to the club and indoor swimming pool.

The Chalets

Each chalet has a lounge, kitchen, two bedrooms and a bathroom. They are carpeted throughout, except the kitchens which have cushion flooring, and the bathrooms which have tiled floors.

The kitchens have an electric cooker, fridge with a small freezer compartment, separate freezer and microwave etc.

The chalets sleep up to six or seven, depending on the chalet. The first bedroom has a double bed while the second bedroom has either two single beds or a "triple" bunk, ( i.e. single on top and double underneath). There is also a "click-clack" sofa bed in the lounge.

The bathroom has a bath and an electric shower, you stand in the bath to use it.

California Sands Facilities

The site has a swimming pool, the Oasis Club, where you may also take the children, an amusement arcade, fish & chip shop, small general store, launderette, hire shop and cafe.

Locally

Just down the road is the California Tavern, which is a nice friendly pub that offers inexpensive meals (which John & I can personally recommend).

Great Yarmouth is only four miles away, which has lots of attractions/amenities, should you be feeling a bit lively!

The beach is about a 10 to 15 minute walk down the road from the site entrance. Opposite the site entrance is the bus stop for catching the bus to Great Yarmouth, which runs about every half an hour during the season. There are also plenty of places around to walk the dogs.

Bookings

We know it's sometimes difficult to save up for a holiday, so we offer our clients the facility of paying by instalments throughout the year.

We also offer short breaks during March, April, & October (excluding Easter, Whitsun and October half term holiday) subject to availability. We do have a brochure, so if you require one please contact us.

The price is per chalet not per person. The only additional cost is for the electricity, for which there is a £1 coin meter.

All linen is free. Pets are free.

We are on site every week to meet our clients, settle them in to the chalets and explain where everything is.
