Le Bois Dormant
Our mobile home is sited on an excellent emplacement on Le Bois Dormant, a four star Haven/Siblu owned park. Just like regular Haven customers our guests are able to use all of the many facilities available on the park.
There is a full programme of entertainments available; during the day organised sports and tournaments and in the evening there are shows, music and games for all the family.
A short distance across the road is our sister park Le Bois Masson, which has a more lively evening entertainment programme including a disco, which guests may also use.
The pool area is fabulous with 2 heated pools, water slides, spa pool and children’s pool, with qualified lifeguards on duty at all times. At Le Bois
Masson there is an indoor heated pool too which is good for those holidays earlier in the season.
There are also the excellent kid’s clubs six days a week; Paws - for toddlers aged 1 to 4 to attend with a parent, Tiger Club - for children aged 5 to 9
with a great programme including face painting, dancing, crafts, treasure hunts, games etc., and T-Co - with a range of activities for older children.
The Region
The Vendee on the west coast of France has a unique micro-climate, which means it enjoys the same amount of sunshine and warm temperatures as the South of France, without the long drive.
St Jean de Monts is a pretty, bustling seaside resort, popular with both French and English holidaymakers. There are miles of beautiful safe sandy beaches with children’s beach clubs and many water sport facilities. On the outskirts of the town the beach becomes more peaceful and is surrounded by dunes and pine forests with miles of paths for walking, cycling and picnics. Every day in town there is a fresh produce market and a general market twice a week. St
Jean has good restaurants, many specialising in seafood.
Nearby are many activities such as water parks, horse riding, karting, quad bikes, paintball, 18 hole golf course, fishing, surfing, safari park and museums. In fact, there is so much to do you will be spoilt for choice.
