Owner's Description

Camping Plateau des Chasses is a 3 star, small, quiet family site with restaurant, swimming pool, children's play area, volleyball and football.

Also on site are good shower blocks with plenty of hot water and room to move, as well as a laundry with 2 washing machines and room to do the ironing if you feel energetic.

The site is at the top of a hill and from the restaurant you have a good view over the bay of Cannes.

It is about 20 minutes from Nice airport (Junction 40 on the A8) where there are three coaches a day direct to the village. Here you can catch the local shuttle every hour to the campsite entrance. Alternatively, by prior arrangement, we can collect you from either the airport or the village. Once on site the shuttle also takes you to the supermarket and the beach.

We have two mobile homes on Camping Plateau des Chasses, which are well equipped for 6 persons and have a wooden terrace with gazebo, so you can eat al-fresco.

Out & About

Between Cannes and Mandelieu there is 6km of public beaches with free parking and close to the Casino Hotel there are 2 beaches where you can hire beds and enjoy the comfort of the restaurant.

At La Napoule there are public beaches either side of the castle. The castle is a museum and also holds live concerts, so is well worth a visit

Catch the bus to Cannes and then have a good choice of places to go; the train runs along the coast to Italy where on a Friday just over the border they have a very big street market with plenty of bargains. On the way home why not stop off at Monaco or the old village of Eze.

For the golf enthusiast, just a mile from Camping Plateau des Chasses there is a beautiful 18 holes course, which is flat and amongst the trees. The highlight of this golf course is the ferry across the river over the River Siagne between holes.
