Kids Clubs - New for 2008 the Pirate Clubs!

Siblu has now introduced Max and the Pirates instead of Haven’s Rory the Tiger. There is still the same high standard of entertainment for the children and just as much fun.

For toddlers 12 months – 4 years old there is Bubbles club with Bubbles the baby whale. Here parents can join in the fun or simply sit back and watch.

For children aged 5-9 there are Pirate club sessions where they can play games, paint or treasure hunt to use up the energy while you enjoy two hours peace and quiet or have a game of tennis

Barracuda Club is a popular club which caters for the 10,s to teens and another great way to wear the kids out. You may have no alternative but to put your feet up and relax!

Entertainment

Just like the Haven holidays you may have tried in previous years Siblu also provides a jam packed entertainment program running throughout the season.

This includes organised sports and tournaments during the day. In the evening there are shows, music and games for all age groups held in The Équinox Show Bar.

The poolside bar Le Pub is open during the day and the evening for a slightly quieter atmosphere.

Peak season you can listen to live bands playing on the outside stage whilst enjoying a drink from the outside bar.

The entertainment is presented in English as well as French and many of the staff on site are bi lingual so you won’t feel totally lost if your school French doesn’t come back immediately.

Alternatively you can just chill out away from it all and enjoy a glass of wine and have a barbecue

The Pool Area

We haven’t found a site in France with pool facilities as clean and safe as Les Charmettes. There are splash pools, slides, indoor pool and Jacuzzi, and not to mention the Aqua-Playstation which features in most of Siblu’s own adverts. There are plenty of qualified lifeguards on duty at all times giving you peace of mind whilst you little ones (and not so little!) have fun.

Accommodation (size does make a difference!)

Unlike booking with any large tour company, the mobile home we have isl 35ft long, not the standard 26ft or 28ft offered by most operators. This mobile home is very well designed giving maximum space and comfort. It would usually incur the top supplement brochure price from major companies. There is a large lounge area, a kitchen/diner, shower and toilet and three bedrooms. A bed-settee can also be found in the lounge.

They have been fully equipped for up to 8 people. Inside we have supplied a full inventory including duvets, a microwave oven, a C.D player and radio alarm clock. There is also a TV DVD player. (It is not connected to the satellite but you can take your own DVDs to watch)

Some sports equipment, including tennis rackets have also been provided so that you don’t have to hire them on site.

Outside

The plot has its own garden enclosed with hedges. It is sited on circular pallets, a way unique to Les Charmettes. This affords you optimum privacy from your neighbours. Unlike many other sites where the mobile homes are packed on like sardines.

We provide sun loungers, patio table and chairs and a gas barbecue and gazebos or parasols.

Each mobile home is extremely well looked after, and kept in very good condition. Ensuring your accommodation is as comfortable as possible, without feeling cramped. The only essentials you need to take are pillowcases, sheets and duvet covers. Gas and electric is also inclusive.

We can advise you on ferry crossings with Brittany Ferries, Hoverspeed, Brittany Ferries Ireland, or Irish Ferries. We offer as much advice on flights as possible. For example many of the no frills air lines are now flying to nearby Bordeaux or La Rochelle.

In your holiday pack we provide you with a route plan from most of the major ports which we update each year. We even provide alternative directions around known traffic hotspots for peak season.

We do all this because we know that if we don’t provide you with a good service you are hardly likely to book again or pass our details to family and friends.
