Owner's Description

The Caravan aptly named Lazy River is sited on the British owned 3 star, Camping Club Holiday Marina, Port Grimaud.

We have a riverside pitch towards the rear of the site, which is nice and quite and relativley private. There is a riverside patio where you can relax on the sunbeds, and maybe catch a glimpse of the Kingfishers as they dart up and down the river. The gazebo covered patio area within the garden provides shade, dining area and barbeque.

Furnished to a high standard throughout, the Caravan is fully equipped to accommodate up to 6 people. The main bedroom has a double bed, the second bedroom has 2 single beds, which can be pushed together to form a double, and there is also a double bed in the lounge.

There is a shower room which includes a small bath and pedestal, with a separate room for the toilet.

The kitchen is fully equipped, having a gas cooker and fridge freezer. In the lounge we have a TV and DVD player for your use, and there is also a gas fire if required.

Games equipment is provided for you to enjoy on the site or on the beach.

Camping Club Holiday Marina

Camping Club Holiday Marina is a well maintained, very clean and tidy site. There are excellent facilities at your disposal including a swimming pool, children's pool, jacuzzi, playing field, bar, restaurant, games room, fishing, cycling, excursions, and in the summer season there is nightly entertainment for all the family as well as a kids club.

The well stocked camp shop provides freshly bake bread and pastries every morning and also hires linen, bikes etc. If you do not wish to drive they have an airport transfer minibus service at a resonable rate. Nearby there is a large supermarket with shopping Mall.

Nearby you have golf, horse riding, water sports, go karting, bowling, bars, restaurants and many more activities to fill the long hot summer days - and the beach is within walking distance too!!

There are plenty of places to visit locally; you can take a leisurely walk to the Venice like village of Port Grimaud and travel the canals on a hire boat or even catch the ferry to the millionaires’ playground that is St Tropez - if you're lucky you might even see someone famous! Market day is a good time to visit.

Wine lovers can sample locally produced wines at nearby vineyards.

A short distance away is the seaside resort of St Maxine, with its bustling night life, filled with places to eat that offer wide ranging menus and entertainment. There is also a nightly street market.

For those wishing to go further afield you can arrange excursions in reception or make your own arrangements using the local bus and train service.

The Old Fortified hill top Village of Grimaud can be reached by the " Petit Train" which runs from Port Grimaud and back several times per day.

Nearest airport is Nice cote d zur which is approx. 1 hour 30 minutes drive.

Whatever you like to do on holiday, this is just the place to do it!!!
