There is a family WC, hand basin and shower cubicle.
All gas, electricity, water and French local occupancy taxes are included in your weekly rates which are for the mobile home, NOT per person.
The micro-climate of the Baie des Anges lends itself to outdoor life and every care has been taken to meet your needs with chairs (even two small ones for children), large dining table, sun loungers, cantilever sunshade and BBQ. In fact, with the wonderful weather normally found on the Cote d'Azur, the patio is the largest and most used room in the home - from leisurely breakfast to romantic or family dinner.
If you bring your own car (the distance is about 800 miles from the channel ports), we can assist with a route and recommend overnight stops. If you fly to Nice airport by one of the low cost carriers, we can arrange for you to be met with a taxi to take you direct to your holiday home.
This is your holiday and we will do our best to make it as enjoyable as possible.
Camp du Pylone
Camp du Pylone is situated on the Baie des Anges between Cannes and Nice, close to Antibes on the Mediterranean coast.
The park entrance is only 300m from the beach where sunbathing, swimming, water sports (in the high season) and mobile catering outlets are available all day.
Even closer to the park is the railway station from where you can journey to Cannes where the famous Film Festival is held each year, or Monaco for the Grand Prix. You can even cross the border and spend the day in Ventemiglia on the Italian coast, browsing in the Friday street market or sampling the delicacies of the tiny back street Ristorante.
Closer to home, Camp du Pylone has its own bar and restaurant, which is French owned
and run, although English is spoken for those not brave enough to try their French.
There are shops supplying beach goods, a small supermarket and wonderful
boulangerie/pattisserie for your bread and very fattening cake requirements.
Take away (Emporter) meals are available from the restaurant or pizzeria.
Live music, quiz nights, bingo (now almost as popular as poker) and big screen coverage of English and European sporting fixtures (sorry girls, yes I do mean football!) are on most nights of the week for your entertainment.
In the centre of the park are the twin swimming pools, a shallow paddler for the non swimming children and a large pool for the others. Across the river following a short walk along the eastern bank are the playing fields, so reminiscent of the school playing fields of England 50 years ago. There's also acres of grassy field with children’s swings, slides and games, football fields and room to breathe. Ducks and swans swim in the river and large fish can be seen in the shallow water, drifting lazily along the shingle riverbed seeking out their next morsel of food.
For those of you without a car, trips are run by minibus from the site to almost every place of interest in the area from the Gorges du Verdon to Monaco at night.
Closer to home, in fact a short walk across the road from the park is La Siesta casino, Marineland with its killer whales, dolphins and sea lions - all part of an international marine preservation syndicate.
Aquasplash, for those of you that prefer to be in the water rather than watching animals in it, Antibesland of amusements and rides and the adventure golf playground for the budding Ryder Cup trainee.
A short distance away that would need either a car, taxi or train ride is Cap 3000, an undercover shopping and eating Mecca for all. There are also numerous golf courses and a multitude of beautiful, quaint, prosaic and secluded Provencal villages, all waiting for you to tread their tiny, hugging streets for the first of hopefully many times.
In short there is something for everyone at Camp du Pylone and our mobile home will give you the privacy you want, the location you want at the price that you want.
Give us a ring; we'd love to talk with you.
