The galley kitchen has fitted units with a free standing fridge/freezer, oven, toaster, microwave, kettle and all the kitchen utensils needed to accommodate eight people.
The lounge area has a TV/Video, Radio/CD for your convenience. There is also a selection of family videos, board games and reading books.
Outside there is a storage box which has children's bikes, tennis/football equipment, bucket & spades and various other beach items.
Out on the patio there is a patio table/chairs, sun loungers and a gas BBQ.
We provide quilts and pillows but you have to bring your own bed linen and towels. You can hire bed linen from the Siblu reception at a small cost.
The Region
The Vendee is a land where golden sands and sunflower fields stretch for miles and miles. It has the second highest number of sunshine hours in France and it's become a firm favorite with visitors who fall in love with the area. It has miles of sloping sandy beaches which rival anything the Cote d'Azur can offer and the resorts are less crowded.
Places to Visit and Things to Do
The area around St Jean de Monts has it all. The beach is wonderful. It stretches for miles and has excellent water sports. There is a fine selection of restaurants and many specialise in seafood. On a Saturday morning you can visit the local market where you can indulge in all excellent fresh foods and local produce.
Nearby you can visit the Atlantic Toboggan Water Park for a fun family day out with breathtaking slides for those who dare!
A local farm is a great afternoon out for the children, where you get to feed the animals and take a trip around the farm on a tractor.
St Gillies-Croix-de-Vie is approx 10 miles away and is a delightful fishing port with quayside cafes, restaurants and shops.
Les Sables d'Olonne is approx 25 miles away and is a lively resort with excellent beaches. Both young and old will enjoy a visit to the Zoo, where you can feed the animals. At night the promenade comes alive with street entertainers and craft stalls.
Noirmoutier is approx 15 miles away and is a small picturesque island accessible by causeway or bridge.
Le Bois Masson
Our mobile home is situated on the Haven/Siblu Le Bois Masson parc. It is packed with things to do and has a lively atmosphere. It has fabulous outdoor facilities such as heated swimming pools, slides, children's play areas, table tennis, tennis courts. Indoors you will find a heated swimming pool, sauna, spa bath, video games room and pool tables.
On site there is a supermarket, laundry, takeaway, bureau de change, safety deposit boxes, family restaurant, pool bar and a lively bar complete with dance floor.
As a guest at the Le Bois Masson, you can also visit the Le Bois Dormant parc which is more peaceful and situated across the road. Parents MUST be aware that there is a busy road separating the two parcs and it is not safe for young children to move between the two sites on their own.
This parc also offers you the use of outdoor pools, slides and a large multi sports pitch with running track.
The children's clubs on site are brilliant. They cater for three different age groups. The PAWS club is for 1 to 4 year olds, the Tiger club is for 5 to 9 year olds and the T-co club is for 10 to 14 year olds. They all have fun packed programs throughout the week.
Finally, the entertainment tends to happen at Le Bois Masson. Here there are games and competitions arranged during the day at the pool. In the evening, there are visiting shows and bands, plus music and dancing. If you fancy a quiet drink then you can choose to cross the road to the Le Bois Dormant pool side bar where the entertainment is more low key.
In order to take advantage of the pool, kids clubs and night time entertainment, you need to purchase a fun pass from the reception. These can be bought daily or weekly at a small charge.
