The home also has mains drainage, electricity and hot water.
Outside on the raised sun deck you will find outdoor furniture and a sun
umbrella.
Village Del Mar - Only 500m From The Beach!
Our mobile home is sited on the fabulous Village del Mar which has a
brilliant new swimming pool, tennis courts, volleyball and basketball
courts, children's play area, shop, restaurant and launderette. All these
facilities are open from June until the end of September and are
free for you to enjoy.
The park is planted with many wonderful Mediterranean plants, oleanders,
aloe vera, palm trees and soaring pines. You may even catch a
glimpse of the tufty eared local black squirrel as he searches for nuts.
The region
Argeles-Sur-Mer, Languedoc Roussillon, Pyrenees-Orientales lies on the
Mediterranean and is only 40 minutes from the Spanish border.
The region experiences in excess of 300 days of sunshine per year which
makes it perfect for sun seekers almost all year round with
temperatures reaching the seventies in Spring and Autumn (ideal for half
term and Bank Holiday's). Winter still has some sunshine and warm
days (nights are chilly) whilst Summer is simply HOT!
The region has the magnificent Pyrenees as a backdrop whose foothills
provide walking, paragliding, horse riding etc. The lovely sandy
beaches with the Med lapping at the shores, provide the playground for every
form of water sports. St Cyprien (15 minutes) has a superb
golf course. Argeles itself has a magnificent port and provides a beautiful
setting for al fresco dining or just people watching whilst
sipping an aperitif. The promenade boasts many different restaurants,
children's play areas, a casino and a funfair. Just 1km from the
site is a Go kart track.
The area has an influence inherited from the Catalans just across the border
and you can often see Catalan frescos on the sides of
buildings. From June to September Argeles has many terrific street markets
selling almost everything or you can just pop across the border
to take advantage of cheap alcohol and cigarettes.
If your stay is in April you must visit the picturesque village of Ceret
(cherry) and experience the mind blowing blossom of the cherry
trees. Another "must see" is the world famous Salvador Dali museum at
Figueres, less than an hours drive away. While you are there why not
spend a day in cosmopolitan Barcelona - only two hours drive from
Argeles.

Prices and booking
In order that you may take advantage of cheaper flights we offer a Sunday to
Sunday start and finish to your holiday. If you are looking
for alternative start and finish days please ask us. If it is possible we
will try to accommodate you, but please be aware it is not often
we can do this.
We are a family and the cottage mobile home is our holiday home and as
such we are aware that holiday costs are often hiked during half
term and school holidays, we don't do this; our prices simply rise and fall
with holiday seasons.
