Get away from the crowds – spend a holiday in our modern mobile home sited on a small, quiet park in the wooded hills overlooking the medieval town of Besalu, in a beautiful part of Spain. The area is relatively untouched by British tourism - and just waiting to be discovered !

Equipped and furnished to a high standard, including air conditioning and central heating, our mobile home is ideal for both summer and winter breaks.

It offers one double bedroom and one twin bedroom, separated by the dining and lounge area, which can convert to another double bed. There is a walk-in shower and a separate WC.

The fitted kitchen has a built-in electric oven, gas hob, fridge/freezer, microwave and washing machine, ironing board, iron, hair dryer, bed linen and towels. Also provided is satellite TV and DVD player, and a radio and CD player.

Outside, the large private deck area, 9m x 3m, has a patio table and chairs, 4 loungers, large sun umbrella and a gas BBQ.

Our prices are fully inclusive of electricity, gas and water.

Linen is provided as are towels and beach towels.

Camping Besalu

Our mobile home is on Camping Besalu which is set in stunning countryside; ideal for walking, cycling, fishing (the Park has its own river front), horse riding and nearby championship golf courses.

The site is split level, with this home being one of only a small number on the upper level. A path leads down to the lower level where there is a small swimming pool, shop, restaurant and games area - all open in high season.

Out & About

Besalu village can be reached by an approximate 30 minute walk down through the woods and crossing the narrow river, or by car down the 1.5 mile private road. In the village you will find cobbled streets, hidden shops, restaurants and cafes. It even boasts two Michelin starred restaurants.

Besalu is about 40 minutes drive from Girona Airport in Catalonia. The Costa Brava coast (Roses, Estartit, L’Escala, LLoret and Tossa de Mar) are also about 40 minutes drive.

Closer still, the historic towns of Banyoles and Figueres (home of Salvador Dali) are well worth a visit, and the ski resorts of the Pyrenees are less than an hour’s drive.

Getting There

Ryanair flies from several UK airports to Girona on a daily basis and often offers very attractive discounted fares. A car is really recommended and can be hired and collected at the small airport.

Alternatively private car transfers and days out can be arranged.
