Camping Cabopino
Cabopino is undoubtedly the coasts best kept secret.
The forest of Pine trees runs down onto the sand dunes and the beach.
It is situated 25 minutes by car from Malaga airport and lies 12kms from Marbella and 14kms from Fuengirola.
The site is only 175 metres from the beach and port and is placed in a beautiful pine grove next to a golf course.
On site there are two swimming pools, one of which is covered and heated and is open all year round. There is also a small shop, cafe bar which also provides take aways and some evening entertainment, an internet cafe, Indian restaurant and take away, and the famous Da Bruno's Italian restaurant.
There is a programme of activities available during the summer months, which include table tennis, shooting, archery, volleyball, football, French boules and many others.
The site has a play park for children, away from traffic areas, and entertainment programmes are also run for children.
The reception is English speaking and the gates to the park are closed between midnight and 7am. There is also a security guard on duty during the night.
Outside the park there are bus stops.
Local Area
The beach is sheltered by artificial reefs and there is a gentle slope into the sea. Lifeguards are on duty throughout the summer and the beach is of superior quality making it child friendly and safe. Sunbeds and thatched parasols can be hired and there are shower areas and toilets. There is even a resident masseur.
The famous Andy's beach bar is here, where good food can be bought, and during the summer, evening meals and entertainment is on offer.
The pretty port has 169 moorings, which are always occupied by exclusive yachts. It has a good choice of restaurants with fine cuisine producing Spanish favourites such as paella and pizza, Chinese and Italian amongst others.
There are excellent shopping malls nearby and markets every day of the week.
