There are two bathrooms, one en-suite to the master bedroom and the second at the other end next to the twin bedrooms. They both have modern enclosed full size showers with thermostatic control, push button flush toilets and wash hand basins with hot and cold water, plenty of open cupboard space and shelving with an electric towel rail in both.

You have the use of your own washing machine in the mobile and ironing board, so you can save on using the camp facilities.

The lounge, kitchen and dining area create a huge living space with excellent storage. There is ample space for the family to eat at the extending table that seats six, to spread out and relax, whilst listening to your favourite CD on the large comfy sofa.

The fully equipped luxury kitchen is bright, airy and fitted with a large fridge freezer, large stainless steel microwave oven/grill, with a full size gas oven, grill and 4 burner gas hob. With this modern kitchen there are cupboards above and below to give ample storage space along with electric cordless kettle and 4 slice toaster, making breakfast a joy. There is plenty of worktop space for preparing meals to eat in or dine Al fresco out on the wooden decking.

The decking, which is being installed at the end of March, will be 7.5m long x 2.5m wide with 4.5m covered and 3m open with the end covered in with a panoramic window. You will be able to enjoy eating and relaxing on the decking with the large teak extending table and six teak chairs with cushions along with the large four burner gas barbeque. The two teak sun loungers and cushions will allow you to top up your tan either on the decking or take them into the garden where you will find a picnic table and parasol where the kids can eat and drink, enjoying their own space.

Haven Europe site La Reserve

Our mobile home is on the 4 Star La Reserve site, one of eight Siblu Parcs owned and run by Haven Europe in the beautiful Aquitaine region of France. This fantastic site is ideal for families of all ages.

You are only an hour away from Bordeaux airport if you want to fly-drive on one of the low cost airlines. Or take one of the channel ferry crossings and drive down.

The site at Gastes near Parentis en Born is on the edge of Lake Biscarrosse with its own on-site sandy beach and surrounded by pine trees. The lake is the focal point for all the water sport activities including sailing, canoeing, water skiing, power boating, windsurfing, fishing and much more. Rockley Watersports run sailing courses, approved by the Royal Yachting Association (RYA), and at the end of your chosen course you will receive an RYA level qualification.

On site, still keeping with the water theme, you have the excellent outdoor pools with 4 lane waterslide and waterchute along with large paddling pool, heated indoor pool, spa bath and water cascade. All pools are covered by qualified lifeguards.

There is always plenty to occupy you on site with the many sports and leisure facilities like the 4 outdoor play areas, crazy golf, boules, multi-sports pitch for ball games, bike hire and much more.

As for food and drink there’s the L’Airal bar, L’Oustaou restaurant, La Luna bar and terrace, a supermarket, takeaway and beach bar.

If you can tear yourself away from the site then you have two gorgeous sandy beaches and great surf at Mimizan and Biscarrosse Plage, both approximately 13 miles away.

If you drive up towards Arcachon then you can visit the ‘Dune du Pyla’ the largest sand dune in Europe, stretching nearly two miles and 117m high, you will be amazed at the spectacular views across the bay of Arcachon and the Landes forest.

At Arcachon there is a superb zoo to visit, spread over 14 hectares with over 100 big cats and the largest bear pit in Europe. Nearby is the Aqualand Water Park with its huge water chutes, river rapids and wave pools - great for all the family.

Also, there is always the huge forest for mile after mile of pines known as Les Landes, which is great for bike rides, horse riding or just walking and exploring.
