The Lounge area boasts comfortable seating and ample storage space for games and books, etc. There is a Television connected to English and French satellite programmes and with a video and a DVD player. It has a very spacious feel as it opens out on to the dining area with a solid wooden draw leaf table with four separate chairs and two stools. There is a heater in the lounge/dining area and a gas fire should any of the evenings become chilly.
Immediately opposite the dining table is the square kitchen area which has a gas cooker with 4 burners, an oven and grill that ignite electronically from one central position. Also included is a fridge/freezer and microwave, as are cooking utensils, crockery, cutlery, glassware, electric kettle, toaster and a coffee percolator with espresso maker.
There is a shower room with wash hand basin and also a separate toilet with wash hand basin. We have extra heating in the bedroom, the hall area opposite the small bedroom and in the dining area plus a heated towel rail in the shower room. The instant hot water is fed by a gas boiler. All electric and gas from the mains are included. So if the weather turns cold you will not be!
Outside the mobile home is a table and chairs with canopy over and sun loungers plus a barbeque.
All in all we like to feel that you are in a ‘home from home’.

LOCAL AREA
The picturesque town of Pont Aven is a 7 minute drive away. This was, at one time, the home of the famous French impressionist painter Gaugin. It has many art galleries and gift shops and is actually an inland port on the river L’Aven from where you can take boat rides to local islands. Features of this delightful town are its water mills, walks, typically Breton buildings and good selection of restaurants.
Concarneau, one of France’s large fishing ports, is a short distance from the park and boasts a fascinating walled mediaeval town in the harbour of the town with a museum and walks round the ramparts and of course gift shops and restaurants. Truly worth a visit, particularly on a Monday or Friday as there is a large market on those days. The town also has a good selection of supermarkets
Quimper the regional capital of the Department of Finistere, is a mediaeval city of great charm and character with its narrow streets and twin spired cathedral. It has an indoor market every day and the museum, shop and factory of the world famous Breton pottery company Henriot, can be visited. Quimper stands on the river Odet, (which boasts as being ‘the most beautiful river in France) where you can take a boat trip to the delightful seaside town of Benodet or vice versa.
There is always something going on in the local area - be it a ‘Pardon’ where there is the chance to see local Breton costumes at these religious festivals or a Fest Noz, which a good excuse to have a dance, food and a drink Breton style, or go to a Troc et Puce (local car boot sale). There are, of course, many other places to visit in Brittany so if you are thinking of touring the area , there are plenty of maps and details at the Reception.
PS: Don’t miss the zoo at Pont Scorf.
Walking, Cycling & Horse riding
If you want to stay local there are plenty of walks both coastline and country and are all well marked. They even have marking system for mountain bikes (VTT) to follow. The local maps are marked with all the routes. There are a number of riding establishments in the area that can cater for your interest.
All in all, this part of Brittany has a lot to offer - we don’t believe that you will be bored, but you will be relaxed.
