All the plug sockets are UK standard so you can bring all your own electrical equipment, if you wish. We have also supplied air cooling fans, a warm air heater, an iron, ironing board, clothes airer and hair dryer. There is also a small selection of sports equipment and books.

Outside in the enclosed garden there is a small paved area with a gazebo, table and chairs, two sun loungers and a gas barbeque.

Les Charmettes

Haven Europe own 8 sites in France, the Jewel in the Crown being Les Charmettes, which is where our holiday home is. Situated on the South West Coast of France you are just 3 miles from the beach at Le Grand Cote. Nearby there is the best zoo in France at Le Palmyre, and you are close to Cognac and La Rochelle.

Les Charmettes is a great base, whether you are intent on exploring the region or relaxing by the pool! For the more active there is an all-weather pitch that caters for football, basketball and volleyball. If swimming is what you need then you will find 4 outdoor pools with water chute and water slide and 1 heated indoor pool.

There are specialist courses in football, archery and fencing from qualified instructors.

For evening entertainment there are two bars, the Oasis Bar and Terrace and L'Equinox. Every evening there is live entertainment at L'Equinox, with a varied range to suit all tastes. You will also find a restaurant, pizzeria or takeaway and shop on site.

If you have children there are three free clubs to keep them busy and help them make lots of friends. For the youngest there is the PAWS Club for 1-4s. Then for the 5-12's the TIGER Club and finally there is the T-Co Club for 10-14s.

If you like golf there is a fantastic golf course at Royan, which is 10 minutes drive. Golf clubs can be hired.
