Our shed, next to the mobile home, has bikes, outdoor toys and a barbecue for you to use during your stay as well as a patio set and sun loungers on the decking.

We provide quilts and pillows but you have to bring your own bed linen and towels. You can obtain linen packs from Haven reception at a small charge.

Haven Europe - La Carabasse

Our mobile home is situated on the Haven La Carabasse parc. When you arrive at the parc you will notice how clean and inviting it looks. All the mobile homes are lined up fanning around the stunning pool as the centrepiece. The parc is abundant with flowers and palm trees. The beach is within walking distance and there is a shortcut to the beach via a gate situated at the back of the parc.

It has fabulous outdoor facilities such as a swimming pool with qualified lifeguards, four lane waterslide and water chute, tennis courts, basketball, multi sports pitch, boules, bike hire, pool table, table tennis, outdoor children's play areas and Children's clubs for ages 1 to 14. To take advantage of the pool and slides you have to obtain a fun pass from Haven reception. These can be bought daily or weekly at a small charge.

The Carabasse beach club offers a whole spectrum of water sport activities from pedalos to windsurfing. The beach bar is open May to September and serves food and drink.

Also on site is a supermarket with its own bakery, which is very well equipped for everything you need. There is a Hyper U supermarket at nearby Agde which gives you more variety and is much cheaper.

Additional facilities on site include launderette, family run restaurant, take-away, safety deposit boxes, bureau de change and information bureau.

In the evening you have the choice of two bars, one for your main evening entertainment outside and the other to sit and enjoy a drink watching Sky TV indoors.

The site management organises games, competitions and shows to provide a varied programme of family entertainment.

If you fancy a stroll away from the park, you can either head towards the beach where the road is lined with shops, restaurants and bars or you can head towards the old town of Vias and have a quiet drink in one of the bars tucked away amongst the maze of alleyways.

For non-stop fun you can visit the Europark Leisure park which is close by. It has fantastic rides that suit children and adults. You don't pay to enter but pay when you go on the rides. You can also have a game of mini golf or have a go on bungy swing.

The Local Area

For a small region the Languedoc has a lot to offer. At Vias Plage where our mobile home is situated, the mediterranean has formed a long cove of fine sand surrounding the unspoilt lagoons. Here you can idle your day away and relax on the large beach.

If you fancy exploring away from the area for the day, there are plenty of places to visit such as Le Cap d'Agde, Agde, Montpellier, Carcassonne and Spain is only a couple of hours drive away.
