The Master bedroom has a double bed, wardrobes and large overhead cupboards for added storage space and own door to shower room. The second bedroom features twin single beds and built-in wardrobe.

Outisde the mobile home is a decked area which of 6x2.5 metres, with steps down to a medium sized plot enclosed by large hedges. This is a pitch that has the sun most of the day. For your comfort there is a patio table which seats six, plus chairs. Parking is available at the front of the plot.

Les Charmettes

Haven Europe own 8 Parcs and without doubt the flagship is Camping Les Charmettes, which is where our holiday home is situated.

Set in peaceful countryside on the outskirts of Les Mathes, a small village, you are just 3 miles from the beach at La Palmyre.

Les Charmettes has just about everything! For the energetic there's an all-weather multi-sports pitch that caters for football, basketball and volleyball. If the water is your thing there's a huge outdoor pool complex with two outdoor pools, a 4 lane waterslide, a watershute, a bubble pool and a water play station. A newly built indoor pool area opened in 2003.

Then there's table tennis, boules, the Fitness Trail and, for a modest charge, tennis, mini golf, archery and pool tables. Alternatively, if you want to explore without driving, you can visit Cyclo Trott and hire a bike.

When you've worked up an appetite there's a shop, the Oasis Bar and Terrace, a restaurant, pizzeria or takeaway on site. There are many top quality restaurants in nearby La Palmyre, Arvert and La Tremblade.

Another great attraction is La Palmyre zoo boasting 1600 animals with shows throughout the day. This is situated approximatley 3 miles from the park.

The kids will make lots of friends at the PAWS Club for 1-4s, the TIGER Club for 5-12s or the T-Co Club for 10-14s.

"L'EQUINOXE" is the major entertainment venue at Les Charmettes where the entertainments team organise and present a varied programme each day and evening.
