The family owned and managed site is perfect for swimming, sunbathing and relaxing and on site facilities include a lovely pool, play area and games room. Bretignolles is within walking distance where you can hire bikes as there are plenty of cycle tracks around and about. There are plenty of shops including a supermarket, pharmacy, bars and restaurants. There is also a very good street market two mornings a week - and of course a beach!

St-Gilles-Croix-de-Vie

St-Gilles-Croix-de-Vie lies to the north just about 2.5 miles up the D38. It is the town on two sides of the estuary. with lots of lovely shops street cafes, restaurants and creperies. From there you can go on boat rides to the Isle of L'lle d'Yeu which takes about a hour, once there you can hire bikes or take a coach trip round the island and spend a very relaxing day.

Les Sables-D’Olonne

To the south is Les Sables-D’Olonne, the lovely fishing port where Ellen McAthur started and finished her round the world solo yachting voyage earlier this year. An interesting place to visit with plenty going on. Read more about this interesting place in our folder.
