Owner's Description We have 5 mobile homes at Pachacaid, La Mole, 16 kms from St Tropez. (Site is in all the usual brochures; Eurocamp, Haven, Keycamp etc). It has a large swimming pool with café bar, jacuzzi, water slides, paddling pool and climbing wall. The site also has a small supermarket (which provides a takeaway food service). There is a disco (underground, fully sound-proofed) and a restaurant/bar with live entertainment. The nearest beaches are about 15/20 minutes by car. La Mole, approx 2 kms away is a small village with a couple of restaurants, bakers and small Vival supermarket. Cogolin, a typical French small town is about 7kms away, with cash points, shops, restaurants, post office, twice-weekly market and a large supermarket (Leclerc). The Geant Casino hypermarket is just passed Cogolin at La Foux roundabout.

The mobiles are situated on levels 5, 6, 7 and 8 – and they all have beautiful views over to the valley beyond. Very pretty patio areas with table/chairs, two sunbeds, overhead pergola with bamboo shading. (For those who know Pachacaid – all 4 mobiles are on front plots. Whilst they are officially classed as a 6-berth, we feel they are more comfortable for 5 adults or 4 Adults with 2 children. Bookings are 4.00pm Saturday – 10.00am Saturday; June, July & August. Other months, by arrangement.

AIRPORTS: Nice 90 kms, Toulon 40 kms, Marseille 120 kms. Nearest A8 exit 45 minutes.

NOTES: There is a small charge levied by the site for use of the water slide complex. There is a free period for the slides for approximately 1 hour in the morning and 6-7 pm and at weekends. The swimming pool (supervised by life guards at all times) is, of course, always free. Open 10 – 7 in high season. Under 5’s are not allowed to use the slides at all. Unfortunately, BBQ’s have been banned in this area of the Var. Plugs in the mobile are French 2-pin.

This site is terraced, in a valley. This is what makes it so pretty. Access is by either tarmac roadways at each end of the site (with very low speed limit/humps), or steps going up the middle. This site may not, therefore, be suitable for the very infirm (although it is only a couple of minutes in the car down to the swimming pool and other facilities). This site is not within reasonable walking distance of anywhere else, so, we consider it is essential to have a car for the whole of your stay. Only one car is allowed per plot (parking is next to mobile). The gates close at about 11.30 pm – 7.00 am. There is a night car park for when gates are closed – then you have to walk to the mobile home.
