The mobile home has ample storage and a corner sofa with coffee table, and a dining table which extends to seat six persons. There is a TV with UK Sky freeview and a CD/DVD player.
There are numerous French electrical sockets and two English adapters are supplied (please bring your own if required).
The mobile home has electric heaters throughout.
There is a small table top washing machine (launderette facilities on site).
Outside there is a table and six chairs with parasol, two sun loungers, clothes airer, gas barbecue and two old but usable adult bikes (used at customers own risk). The Garden is secluded and faces south for sunshine throughout the day.
Les Charmettes
Available on site at Les Charmettes there is a supermarket, bars, a restaurant, take away, information bureau, launderette, and wi-fi available throughout the parc.
Linen and towel packs, and baby packs (baby bath, high chair, cot, buggy, steam steriliser, beach baby tent) can be hired.
When you purchase your fun passes the following activities are available:
Water Activity - includes a heated indoor pool with a spa bath, water fountain pool, an outdoor water complex featuring 2 heated outdoor pools (mid May-mid Sept), 2 heated children’s pools with waterslide and chute, and a children's aqua play station. The facility has qualified lifeguards on all pools.
Sports Fun - for the sports minded there are 2 all weather multi-sports pitches, a small gym, basketball, bike hire, boules pitches, a crazy golf course, and a fitness room. Siblu soccer offers free football tournaments for all age groups (including adults) each week throughout the season. There is also archery tuition and a large screen TV for special events. Throughout the site there are outdoor play areas with pool tables and satellite TV in the bar. A table tennis and a video games room is attached to the bar area.
There is also pony riding on the parc and there are numerous tennis courts available throughout the parc.
Entertianment - to entertain you whist you visit the Les Charmettes, there are children's clubs at Bubbles (1-4s), Pirate Club (5-9s) and Barracudas (10-14s), evening children's entertainment and fun family showtimes in the fabulous high-tech, 500 seater indoor venue (open from mid May), and relaxed evening entertainment in the bar throughout the season. July and August sees the fun start on the open air terrace overlooking the beautiful pool complex. In addition there are special events such as Bastille Day, Fetes des Charmettes and Ascension Day.
Please note: not all activities are available out of season (mid May to mid
September) and some activities have to be paid for.
Location
This area is blessed with many features, there are numerous beaches; La Palmyre has gently sloping, child friendly beaches into the Gironde Estuary where the beaches on the 'Côte Sauvage' face directly onto the Atlantic and are very popular with surfers. On the coast you can fish, sail, swim, surf, hire boats and all the activities you can expect from a first class tourist destination.
There is a famous zoo at La Palmyre.
There are numerous, safe cycle tracks and horse riding available through the forests, along with cinemas, pony rides, go karting, golf courses and plentiful markets, with boat trips from La Tremblade being a particular favourite. If you enjoy nature there are forest walks with numerous picnic areas.
Locally there is a flume park and during the season Luna Park funfair. At Rochefort and La Rochelle there are museums and many beautiful attractions to visit and view.
The area is famous for oysters and all sea foods, and of course the main Bordeaux wine areas are just across the estuary. As you would expect there are many fabulous restaurants to visit.
