Our mobile home is sited on the Les Charmettes Park, which is run by Siblu Haven where English is spoken. It is approximately 41/2 to 5 hours drive from St Malo about 40 miles south of La Rochelle near Royan surrounded by the La Coubre forest.

Pool Table, Sky TV in bar French & English screens, Nightly cabaret (May – Sept), Cycle hire (May – Sept), 3 Kid’s clubs for 1-14+ years, Football area.

Archery*, Crazy Golf*, Tennis Courts*, Fun Fitness with the “A” Club*, Fitness Zone Gym* especially created for adults.

* These activities require a Sports Pass, which can be purchased from Reception.

Local Area

There are plenty of attractions nearby, La Palmyre beach is 3 miles down the road and La Palmyre Zoo is only 5 minutes away by car from the site and is well worth a visit with children.

There are Go-Karts, Quad bikes within walking distance of the park. It is a very flat area that makes it ideal for cycling and there are cycle tracks all around.

At La Palmyre has a varied selection of restaurants to choose from. Luna Park funfair is open in July and August.

There are wonderful sandy beaches to visit, the Cognac Distillery and various vineyards and oyster beds.

The Troglodyte Caves at Meschers, Ile D’Oleron with a boat trip around Fort Boyard are well worth a visit and there is a lot more to see and do.
