Camping La Sirene

La Sirene is a large, well established 4* campsite offering familiy holidays for more than 40 years. All mobile homes are set out in private pitches in the midst of well manicured gardens.

La Sirene provides extensive facilities and entertainment, many of which are free of charge to guests.

Facilities offered on site include an extensive pool complex with water slides, archery, mini golf, tennis, football, scuba diving (payable locally), pool and sea kayaking (payable locally), bicycle hire, restaurants, bar, pub, supermarket, bakery and an extensive live entertainment programme.

The campsite is within easy access of the beach area of Plage Nord; one could walk to the beach in approximately 15 minutes or a 5 minute cycle!! A courtesy bus runs from the campsite daily during high season.

Our mobile home is located on Camping La Sirene, which is located on Route de Taxo, Argeles sur Mer in Languedoc, South West France. It is accessible from the following airports:

Girona (1 hour 20 minutes) - Carcassonne (1 hour 30 minutes) - Perpignan (20 minutes) (flights via the UK only). There is now a Dublin Perpignan flight operated by Aer lingus.

Out & About

La Sirene is located equidistant from the central beach area and the old village of Argeles. The central beach area is a bustling area full of shops bars and restaurants. There is a long promenade which links the central beach area to the bustling port area.

A little further from the beach is the old traditional village of Argeles where one can savour the atmosphere of a typical French village. A visit during one of the market days is a must!! The old village of Argeles is well worth a visit, particularly on market days (Wed and Sat mornings all year round).

Collioure, a few minutes down the coast, is a must do; very picturesque and atmospheric with a great choice of restaurants.

A little further out are the villages of Sorede and Ceret in the Pyrenees. Ville en Franche de Conflent and Castlenou are also worth the trip.

Central Perpignan is 15 minutes drive from the campsite.
