Camping du Quinquis
Camping du Quinquis has the usual facilities expected of a 3* family orientated campsite and as such is not really suitable for teenagers. It is a great base for couples or people with young families to explore the superb beaches, forests and rivers of Southern Brittany.
The site has heated swimming and toddlers' pools, a tennis court, 2 children's play areas, kids club, games room, football pitch, mini golf, bike hire, take away food, laundry, Wi-fi and a pool side bar with satellite TV. Some facilities however, are only available in high season.
Locally
Nearby there is also plenty for the explorer. History runs riot in Concarneau, where the medieval fortress on the harbour walls boasts an Aladdin's cave of cafes and shops. Art lovers will be spoilt for choice in the bohemian Pont Aven, once home to Gaugin.
Many visitors are content with the immediate scenery; just a 20 minute walk or 5 minute drive from the campsite sees the Atlantic lapping against scenic beaches from the cliff top paths of Kerou, while the more energetic holidaymakers can arrange with the camp site reception a choice of horse riding, canoeing or fishing and golf, which are close by.
Essentials shopping is within 5-15 minutes respectively where you will find the towns of Clohars-Carnoet and Guidel. Each offers a supermarket together with traditional Pastisserie, Boulangerie, Charcuterie, Tabac and regular markets.
