All pillows and quilts will be provided, but please bring your own sheets, pillow cases and towels.
La Pignade
La Pignade is a 4* small, friendly site owned by Siblu and boasting excellent facilities. There is a large swimming pool with a sliding roof, also a separate water area for little children. Lifeguards man the pool area. There is a very popular water slide, ample sun beds/chairs and the swim area is very clean.
Entertainment on site includes free clubs for children and evening entertainment (during high season). There is a bar, restaurant, shop, play area for children, mini golf, archery, boules, table tennis and football, as well as horse riding.
The site is on the edge of a forest; walking, cycling and horse riding are available for you to enjoy. A beach is accessible from the path through the forest.
Locally
La Tremblade and Ronce les Bains are both very local and have good markets, shops, supermarkets and restaurants. A small road train runs from site entrance to both (in high season). There is a casino at Ronce.
La Palmyre with its zoo, is not far away. Further down the coast is Royan with wonderful beaches, shops and marina. Boat trips can also be taken from here.
Also worth visiting are La Rochelle, Rochefort, Saintes and the Island of Oleron.
