The lounge/dining area can also be used as an extra sleeping area (should you need it) as it has the facility of a pull out double bed.
The fully fitted kitchen boasts a full size oven and hob, fridge freezer, separate small freezer, microwave oven, kettle, toaster, sink and drainer.
It also comes equipped with an abundance of plates, dishes, glasses, cups, pans, cutlery and utensils.
There are 3 bedrooms, one double with a fitted wardrobe and dressing table and two twin bedrooms with fitted wardrobes. The beds in one of the twin rooms can also be pushed together to make a double.
Outside there is a private garden and patio area with a gazebo and furniture so you can sip your morning coffee or a cold beer in the sun. There is also a garden shed full of buckets, spades and games, along with several bikes.
Gas, electricity, water and fun passes are included in the rental price.
Additional Mobile Home - We also have an additional (2 bedroom) mobile home situated on the same 'cul-de-sac' for rent.
We are only a 5 minutes stroll from the main complex area where the swimming pools and most entertainment facilities are located.
Les Charmettes
Les Charmettes is one of 11 'Siblu' owned campsites and is situated in South West France on the Atlantic coast. The closest town is vibrant La Palmyre, about 2 miles away, which is directly on the coast. It is near the mouth of the Gironde, between La Rochelle and Bordeaux.
The campsite is superb - Les Charmettes is set in peaceful countryside just minutes away from the nearest beaches. The site consists of about 1000 pitches, almost exclusively mobile homes. This may sound huge, but the homes are grouped in little cul-de-sac type enclosures of 10-12 properties, all separated by mature hedges so it feels very private. It means more seclusion and no through traffic! Also, many of the mobile homes are now privately owned and the owners take great pride in their gardens with amazing floral patio areas.
There is a large central pool complex which you can only enter if you have a 'fun pass' - this is good news as it stops people from other sites using the facilities. It has two large outdoor pools, waterslides, a watershute, baby pool and water play station for the under 5s! There is also an indoor pool and jacuzzi for those who just need to relax. The pool area is extremely clean with sun beds and chairs around. They are well marshalled by an army of lifeguards who also run aqua aerobics and pool games.
Also on site there is an all weather sports pitch with football, basketball and volleyball. There are tennis courts, table tennis, boules, mini golf and even archery. There are also several children's play areas with swings, slides and rockers around the site which are ideal for the little ones. To explore the beautiful surroundings you can hire additional bikes from Cyclo Trot on site.
Feeling a bit thirsty after all that? On site you will find Le Hacienda restaurant and a pizzeria/takeaway, as well as a small supermarket catering for all your needs. There is also Le Tropical & Terrace Bars which overlook the pool complex. Across the courtyard from the pool area there is L`Equinoxe, the large entertainment venue which hosts live shows nightly for your enjoyment.
During the day you will find the kid's clubs; Paws 1-4, Tigers 5-12s and the T-Co Club 10-14s.
There are also many sandy beaches nearby, as well as horse riding and golf which can be found just a short drive away. If you fancy a spot of shopping, exclusive La Rochelle is less than an hours drive away. Also why not visit the beautiful towns and cities of Cognac, Saintes and Bordeaux, which can all be reached in less than 2 hours.
You can fly from most parts of the UK - La Rochelle (1hr) and Bordeaux (2hr) being the nearest airports, or the ferry is still a popular choice giving you the opportunity to sight-see on your journey down.
