The lounge area has a U shaped seating area with a coffee table, housing two pull out stools for additional seating.

Other features include a folding out full sized dining table, shower room with sink, separate toilet, TV with DVD player, CD player, fans, ironing board, iron, airers and air conditioning, which is a must during the high season. The mobile home is also equipped with a washing machine, which means you can travel lighter!

L'hippocampe

Hippocampe is a family owned 4 star family site. The campsite, along with its adjoining sister site, La Sirene, offers some of the best facilities in the south of France. The tropical swimming pool complex with various water slides and children's paddling pools can be enjoyed from both the poolside or the adjacent bar area, where you can observe the children enjoying the water, while you enjoy a drink!

The nearby recreation areas offer a host of facilities to all ages, with tennis courts, children's play areas, multi-sport ground, mini golf, archery, table tennis, boules area, horse riding, bike hire and much more.

Hippocampe and La Sirene offer fantastic entertainment in the form of live music and children's shows, as well as a children's club for the over 6s, and organised sports tournaments.

The well equipped on site shops include a food store, newsagents, gift shop, bazaar, bakers and extensive take-away and eat in restaurant service.

Being the smaller of the two sites, Hippocampe boasts the best of both worlds - quiet enough to allow the kids to roam and ride free, but with all the facilities and activities you could want just a moment away.

A 5 minute drive will take you to the nearest beach and the site runs a free shuttle in peak season.

The resort of Argeles Sur Mer, with its fantastic Blue Flag beaches and clean bathing waters, boasts many European awards.

The welcoming atmosphere and typically French feel of Argeles village are a delight and this, along with the numerous restaurants, bars, cafes and markets around the resort, can be reached by the Little Yellow Tourist Train that stops outside the site at regular intervals.

This Catalan region boasts many places of interest such at Collioure, with plenty of walking circuits and interesting sites. This beautiful fishing village nestles at the foot of Mount Alberes, fortified by a Royal Castle, the former summer residence of the Kings of Majorca. The village has a strong seafaring and artistic past, which is reflected in its picturesque cobbled alleyways that house many art and craft shops.

And for those looking for a more energetic day out, the area has many family attractions to keep you entertained: Aqualand Waterpark is but a short drive away, and other nearby activities include Argeles Adventure, animal parks, go karting and lots more.
