It has two swimming pools, including one covered pool, a children's play area, boules ground, a bar (snacks available in high season), a laundry area and a mini golf course. Pool and darts are available in the bar and during the high season, entertainment is put on.

Camping les Priaries du Lac is clean and tidy and English is widely spoken.

Locally

The beautiful village of Apremont houses a spectacular 16th century Chateau which is open to the public and holds many superb events. Also close by is the water tower, which when reaching the top, will give you some views of the Vendee that will never be forgotten.

For those who wish a more relaxing time there is a beautiful Lake within walking distance, where you can swim, fish and hire a boat. A restaurant offers great food and superb views.

Not that far away, about 12km, is the fishing port of St Gilles where you can buy fresh fish and utilise the Grand Plage with its beautiful golden sand that stretches for miles and miles. There are many other beaches close by; St Jean de monts and Les Sables being the most popular.

Nearby there is golf, go-karting and many other activities catering for all ages.
