Camping du Quinquis
Camping du Quinquis is a small, friendly, English owned site that is less than 2 miles from the coastal village of Le Pouldu, where there are 3 good sandy beaches. It is pretty with varied pitches and plenty of trees - very different from the huge commercial sites that pack you in like sardines!
Quinquis is very popular with families - providing a safe environment that will keep your children entertained while you chill out!

In high season there is entertainment such as live music, sporting competitions or family quizzes several times a week. There is also a popular kids club on site.
Locally
Off site there is plenty to do too, with river and coastal walks, cycling, sailing, kayaking and horse riding all available very close by.
A pretty footpath runs from the site to the coast. There are a range of restaurants within a short drive of the site offering everything from crepes and pizza to delicious locally caught sea food.
Banks and shops are available within a few miles of the site at Clohars Carnoet and Guidel. The historic towns of Quimper and Concarneau are under an hours drive away. The pretty artists' town of Pont Aven is worth a visit (seek out the big stepping stones in the river there - the children will love them!) as is the smaller port of Doelan with its lighthouse and bar overlooking the water. Then there's the creperie in the forest by the ruined monastery - less than 10 minutes drive from the site and a beautiful place to stop for lunch.
This is all assuming you are successful in your attempts to drag the children away from Quinquis and their new friends!
The nearest ports are Roscoff (one and a half hours) then St Malo (two and a half hours), Caen and Cherbourg (three and a half hours).
Rates
High season rates are just £300 a week (£550 for 2 weeks). With other owners charging an average of £450 to £500 a week, we can offer you a great value family holiday. Low season rates start at £150 a week.
