Our mobile home is situated on this small friendly site in southern Brittany, about 1.5km from the small quiet fishing village of Le Pouldu (about 20km north of Lorient).
Camping du Quinquis has 2 swimming pools, one a standard length pool and the second (see photo) is designed more for family use with a separated shallow pool for toddlers. The Bar overlooks the pool so you can sit and have a drink whilst watching the children swim.
In addition to the bar there is a small takeaway run by an ex Parisian restaurant owner and his wife, which serves amazing regional French dishes as well as more standard children's food, all at reasonable prices. The Takeaway is usually open from mid June to mid September. There are also some superb local restaurants and Creperies within a few km's (details can be provided).
There are 2 children's play areas and the Kid's Club runs 5 mornings per week in high season. Bike Hire is available on site and there is a full size tennis court.
