Following the refurbishment we hope to have Freeview Sky, plus a few more extras, but for now we have had new covers, curtains, blinds, bedding, TV, DVD player and radio with a selection of DVDs and CDs, new patio furniture, kettle, cutlery, dinner service, kettle and toaster etc.
Camp Du Pylone
Camp Du Pylone is situated just outside Antibes which is on the main route between Nice and Cannes. The campsite is family run, very picturesque and has all the essential amenities needed for a great holiday.
It also has the added bonus of being only 400m from the beach and adjacent to a river with fishing rights!
The amenities include a restaurant, bar, take away, pizzeria (height of season), mini supermarket with English newspapers, bakery/patisserie, large swimming pool (small charge during July & August), toddler's paddling pool, children's playground, table tennis, volleyball and football pitches, telephones, launderette and a bureau du change.
During the height of the season there is nightly entertainment including karaoke, quizzes, live music and bingo.
British and European football matches are shown on two large screen televisions in the bar area.
Camp Du Pylone is only about 15 minutes from Nice airport where a number of budget airlines, as well as standard airlines, fly. A pick up service can be arranged in advance which drops you off right outside the mobile home. This includes being returned to the airport on the day of departure.
Nearby amenities situated just outside the campsite include Marineland (similar to Sea World), adventure golf, Aquasplash (a themed water park) and Antibesland (a funfair which is open during the height of the season and most bank holidays).

Biot - small medieval hillside town famous for its glassmaking Antibes - walled town with plenty of shops of all kinds, restaurants, weekly street market, harbour and stunning beaches Cannes - stunning beaches, shops and restaurants Nice - stunning shops and restaurants Monaco/Monte Carlo - famous for its casino, pink palace and harbour Ventimegila - large market town just over the border in Italy.
All of the above towns can be easily reached by train or bus or, alternatively, excursions are organised from the campsite itself.
