The house also benefits from having a large wood burning stove and a large balcony accessed via folding doors from the sitting area which open the whole wall to reveal an enormous entertaining area.

There is the Ship Inn with great pub grub, The Anchor Hotel for candle lit dining, Andrews on The Weir for fine dining, and last but not least The Pieman who makes the most delicous pies, bread, chutneys and jams. He will also make you a meal to arrive to at very reasonable cost.

Places worth a visit include Lynmouth and Lynton, Valley of the Rocks, Exmoor, Dunster and Dunster Castle, etc. etc.
