There is also a large private garage underneath the villa and air conditioning and central heating in every room. The 7.5 x 3.5 overflow private pool is surrounded by spacious wooden decked terraces with lush banana trees and bouganvillia creepers. There is a built in barbeque, comfortable wooden loungers and umbrellas, and a large wrought iron dining table and chairs for al fresco dining.

The villa is tastefully furnished with wrought iron furniture, Turkish rugs and local paintings. On the ground floor of the villa there is a large wet room with power shower.

Leading off the hall is the spacious living area with 2 wrought iron sofas and 2 matching chairs, all with comfortable cushions, a satellite TV and DVD player, rugs and local paintings. The dining area has a wrought iron and glass table with 8 chairs.

Leading off the dining area is the fully fitted kitchen with oven, fridge/freezer, dish washer and microwave. There is a separate utility room with washing machine, clothes dryer and ironing board etc.

There are two bedrooms on the spacious first floor, one with an en-suite shower room and one with an en-suite bathroom. They both have dressing rooms and balconies, wrought iron furniture, masses of bespoke wooden cupboards and dressing tables, rugs on the wooden floors and paintings on the walls.

On the second floor is a spacious landing with glass doors leading onto the roof terrace, which is furnished in Ottoman style. The third bedroom has a private bathroom and dressing area and is furnished in the same style as the other two bedrooms and leads onto the roof terrace. Mosquito nets and anti mosquito plugs are supplied.

Our villa genuinely has one of the best sea and mountain views available from every room and wonderful long walks can be taken on 'The Lycean Way' through the olive trees right next to the villa. Many unusual birds can be spotted as well as lots of baby tortoises.

A 'welcome pack' is provided on arrival and our English speaking Manager is available 24 hours to help you with any queries. The pool and garden are maintained daily and a linen change and clean is supplied every 3 days.

Local Area

Our villa is perfect for couples, families or groups of friends and there are many activities available and places of interest to visit.

The Kalamar beach club is within 5 minutes walk from the villa and all watersports are available here, including sailing, diving, canoeing, water skiing and swimming in the very clear blue sea. Loungers and umbrellas can be hired for a small fee and there is a lovely restaurant and bar serving delicious local and international meals at reasonable prices.

The pretty, small town of Kalkan is an easy 15 - 20 minute walk away and here you will find winding cobbled streets and whitewashed Ottoman houses with wooden balconies laden with bouganvillia. There is also a pretty pebble beach with loungers and umbrellas and a harbour where you can hire a Gulet for the day or more and sail round the beautiful coastline as the crew serve you delicious meals and drinks.

Kalkan is arguably the prettiest coastal town in Turkey and certainly has the most restaurants. These restaurants are situated on the rooftops of the Ottoman buildings or down by the harbour and serve wonderful local and International meals at reasonable prices.

There are many enticing shops selling beautiful local glass, pottery, designer clothes, pashminas and silver and gold at extremely low prices. There are several supermarkets selling just about everything that you can buy in the UK and they will always give you a free lift home with your shopping! There are two good pharmacies on the Kalamar road where you can get most medicines available in the UK and more. The doctors and dentists are excellent and charge a fraction of the prices charged in the UK. All shops stay open 7 days a week until midnight.

There are several long sandy beaches, including the famous Patara beach a short drive from the villa. Many activities are available close by such as para gliding, walking in the hills, sailing, watersports, fishing and horse riding on Patara beach.

There are many places of interest to visit such as the lovely harbour town of Kas which is about 35 minutes drive away, local markets and archeological sites.
