The large lounge/diner overlooks the garden where you will find a large pond and waterfall, so children must be supervised at all times. With your own patio it is a lovely place to relax.

Pakenham and its surrounding area offers a wide range of activities with golf courses, country walks, bird watching and horse riding. It is the only village in Suffolk to have a working windmill and watermill.
Pakenham has a bird reserve and a five mile circular walk. With a local pub and post office it is an ideal base for exploring the nearby towns of Bury St Edmunds, with its abbey gardens and cathedral, Newmarket, the home of British horse racing (20 minute drive), and the University City of Cambridge (only 25 miles) with its wonderful architecture, history, botanical gardens and excellent shopping.
Banham Zoo, rated amongst the top 3 in the country, is 25 minutes drive, and for those interested in gardens, Bressingham Gardens and Garden Centre has four working steam engines, which travel through the wonderful gardens, with a working Victorian carousel and museum. There is something for young and old.
