The villa is supervised by my daughter, who lives in the area, and can help with any queries/language difficulties etc.

A security deposit of £150 is required and returnable within 14 days of departure (less cleaning on departure (by the hour) and any damage incurred).
Local Area
The villa is 2km from the village of Mons within a quiet private estate. There is a large swimming pool with small toddler's pool and a tennis court, all for the exclusive use of residents (4 minute walk from the villa). The pool can be booked by the week or day and is payable on site (pool only open in July and August).
The present day village was developed in the 11th century. Perched at an altitude of 814 metres, it is a charming, picturesque and uncommercialised Provencal village. Within the village there are 4 restaurants, a small hotel, bar/tabac, post office, small grocery shop, bakery and a Provencale gift shop. Just outside the village are two excellent municipal tennis courts.
There is excellent walking in the area and a horse riding ranch near the village for promenades in the countryside.
Nearby Lac St. Cassien offers fishing and fresh water swimming, and one can hire pedaloes and windsurfs. The larger ancient villages of Fayence, Callian, Montauroux and Seillans are all a 20 minute drive from the villa and offer a larger range of shops, restaurants and supermarkets.
"The Route Napoleon" (N85), is a 20 minute drive and heads into the Haute Alps de Provence, Castellaine, the Gorges de Verdon and Lac St. Croix. The nearest beaches are at Cannes and St. Raphael.
The A8 auto route gives easy access to Nice, Cannes, Monaco etc. Nice International Airport is a 70 minute drive.
